Five’s first outdoor special builds have hit the streets of London to promote the revival of the hugely popular 1970’s TV show ‘Superstars’.
Clear Channel Outdoor’s Create division has worked with Hyperspace, Posterscope, Vizeum & VCCP to devise a series of 6-sheet special builds across Central London.
Five’s innovative campaign involves installing 25 of the Superstars retro vests into London 6-sheets with the aim of reigniting enthusiasm for the show. Senior Project
Manager at Hyperspace, Richard Simkins, said, “Outdoor advertising is known to be excellent at delivering coverage and awareness, however this campaign is designed to both re-ignite fans’ enthusiasm for the original show and appeal to a new audience.
“Special displays have been proven to deliver greater stand-out and engagement, and help to differentiate your product – all things that Five wanted to achieve with this campaign.”
This is the first time that Five has used special builds to promote a new programme and they are designed to work alongside a wider outdoor campaign that includes roadside 6-sheets, 48-sheets, and station dominations at Paddington and Charing Cross which are also firsts for the TV channel.
