HP has launched a new outdoor treasure hunt project for this summer in collaboration with TV personality Sharron Davies.
The June hunts will include clues leading to local landmarks, with treasure maps and instructions available online to personalise and print. The lucky winning families will each receive an HP WiFi printer and Original HP printing supplies.
The free live treasure hunts take place in Brighton on June 14 and in Edinburgh on June 29 between 11am and 3.30pm.
Participants can register and download, personalise and print their own treasure map at hp.com/uk/summer. Each family will be invited to solve a series of clues at landmarks across the area to discover the hiding place of the buried treasure. Landmarks will be kitted out with HP Wi-Fi printers and supplies making it fast and easy for treasure hunters to get their next clue.
As part of its ‘What Do You Have To say’ campaign, HP is encouraging families to get involved by providing the key components to a great treasure hunt. Olympic swimming champion and Gladiator Sharron Davies and her family will be out solving the clues alongside the participating teams at the live events.
Following the live events, and to coincide with the start of the summer holidays, HP is providing free tools to allow consumers to go online and personalise and print their own treasure hunting kit for free hp.com/uk/summer. These “at home” treasure hunts will be available from July 7, 2008.
