A campaign to promote the host venue of the Ryder Cup breaks today on the London Underground network.
The Celtic Manor Resort will run ads on escalator panels at 25 of the capital’s busiest stations. Using the hook that it is to host Wales’s first Ryder Cup, the hotel hopes to drive new visitors to its five star resort.
The escalator panels feature a selection of images from the Ryder Cup and Twenty Ten course. With the words “More than a world class golf resort”, the final advert also includes pictures of some of the resort’s other main attractions.
Commenting on the launch of the four-week campaign, Gareth Rees Jones, marketing and commercial Director at The Celtic Manor Resort says. “With more than three million journeys made every day on the London Underground, we feel it is the perfect location to project these messages to business commuters who can escape the city.”
Ads will also display on 48 sheet posters at the London Underground sites.
