Will sex and chocolate prove the winning recipe for Aero?The brand is pinning their marketing on ‘Sex and the City’ hunk Jason Lewis who played the role of ‘Smith Jerrod’ in the popular TV series.
He is to front – dressed only in a towel - a new TV and press campaign kicking off today and running for the next six weeks.
Created by JWT, the script for the ad attempts to seduce consumers. It reads, “37 degrees Celsius. Otherwise known as body temperature. When the little bubbles in new Aero Bubbles dissolve, the chocolate melts even faster in your mouth. And that, ladies, makes the pleasure even more intense.“Philip Davies from Aero comments, “The ad is a fun and tongue in cheek way of explaining why Aero’s bubbles create such a unique molten chocolate experience.
“Jason’s seductive explanation of melting bubbles researched so well that we are confident this will be the most alluring ad to hit the airwaves for a long time.”
Jason Lewis added, “Being from California I’m used to hanging around half-naked on a beach, so I had no problem shooting the ad – in fact coming to London to eat chocolate was a great job.”See the ad HERE
