McCain’s ‘Good Unlimited’ campaign goes interactive

McCain’s ‘Good Unlimited’ campaign goes interactive

With the current ‘Good Unlimited’ campaign already charming the nation on television, today McCain launches an online game where fans of the ad can interact with the McCain range of prepared potato products, including Smiles, Wedges and Sweet Potato.

The game takes its inspiration directly from the TV ad with players tickling and hugging potatoes to achieve high scores and win holiday vouchers.

The deal was planned and negotiated by PHD and ITV Online Sales and the creative was developed by Stickee with creative input from McCain’s creative agency, Beattie McGuiness Bungay.

The game will sit exclusively on ITV.com with links to the game featuring in ads running exclusively around catch-up video of premium ITV.com content.  The game also has functionality that allows it to be distributed virally.

Greg Foster, Senior Product Manager, McCain said “This is a great opportunity for McCain to reach its audience and drive awareness of its Prepared Potato range in a new and interactive way"

Simon Harwood, Media Group Manager, PHD said “At PHD we are constantly striving for new and exciting ways to drive greater engagement beyond the regular ad format. This game is a great example of that in action.”

Melanie Wells, Online Sales Manager, ITV said “We’re really pleased to be working with McCain and PHD on this campaign. The game is a fun and exciting way for ITV.com users to engage with the McCain brand.”
