Jordans has launched its own social network dedicated to fans of its ‘Country Crisp’ cereal brand.
The CCAS – the Country Crisp Appreciation Society at welovecountrycrisp.co.uk will be dedicated to all things Country Crisp and supports Jordans Country Crisp Appreciation group on Facebook. Jordans also has an active Twitter feed.
Free to participate in, CCAS users are being incentivised with the prospect of ‘tasty treats’ including winning a personalised pack along with a hamper of their favourite Country Crisp.
The manufacturer recently made a personalised pack of its Strawberry variant for Radio 2 Breakfast Presenter, Terry Wogan, calling the product ‘Staw Terry’ (pictured).
On registration users are asked to answer this simple question: ‘If you were a bowl of Country Crisp, how would you describe yourself?’
The CCAS has its own manifesto and pledges to read every single message users send about Country Crisp; to incorporate as many ideas from consumers as possible into breakfasting plans; and, to offer unique and fun experiences.
Prizes on offer to CCAS members include a family holiday and cookery course.
“We’re very excited about the CCAS and can’t wait for our fans to voice their appreciation,” said Head Cluster Baker, Paul Bell.
The move follows a recent TV ad campaign for 'Country Crisp'. See an example below.
