Guinness brand owner Diageo has publicly distanced itself from a sexy viral that has broken on YouTube.
The work features a wobbling bottle, which is revealed to be balancing on the lower back of a woman lying on her front.
As she rocks back and forth, a hand reaches from behind her to grab and drink from the stout bottle. Moments later another tattooed arm hand reaches for the bottle from in front of her.
The punchline features a third hand appearing from beneath her as the ad closes with the words, “Share one with a friend. Or two.”
The cheeky work, which suggests an orgy, has so far so far been seen by a handful of viewers but looks set to be a huge viral hit for the brand.
Guinness however has publicly distanced itself from the ad and has instructed YouTube to remove it.
A spokesman said, “Please be assured that Guinness is in no way associated with this video, and has approached YouTube to have it removed.
“We are proud of our brands, and our commitment to responsible marketing, and this is not how we want our brand portrayed.”
They added, “We have made this clear in a statement on the video’s site, and the producer of the video has also now made it clear that the material is not associated with Guinness.
The last official campaign for Guinnss, entitled ‘Tipping Point’, has been watched around half a million times on YouTube alone.
Created by AMV BBDO and featuring a domino effect it involves 6,000 iconic black and white dominoes, alongside thousands of unexpected toppling objects.
Cheered on by hundreds of villagers, the ad aims to capture a celebration of community.
Heralded as the brand’s most expensive ad yet, it cost a cool £10 million.
