My new client is very attractive and keeps being very suggestive towards me. At first I thought he was just being friendly but now I am 100% sure he is trying to get me into bed. I do feel myself flirting back but I dont want to get involved with a client, a friend did a while back and it caused massive problems. How do i get the message across without pissing him off?

we lack info like how long is he meant to be your client? how much you fancy him? and so on....any predictable answer such as:

be clear, tell him that you value him as professional bla blabla, are useless cos every situation is different, but i'd start quiting the flirt back

Get it over and done with and sleep with him. Then he'll stop bothering you.

Errr people. We're all missing the point. Don't discouareg him but don't lead him on. Build up a case and then take him to an industrial tribunal... and the cleaners for sexual harassment! Ker-ching!

Hmmm I have to say you are his account manager/ director. if you sleep with him then you really are breaking the unspoken code which simply states: don't cop off with the client. Most agencies, whilst they seem to applaud internal breeding like it's the new viagra, don't take a good view on this and you may jeopardise your career for what may turn out to be a very unsatisfying experience.

Bingo! You have the power. If you sleep with him, he has it. Retain the power to ensure he calls you for your advice. Don't put him off or encourage him. You already answered that bit.
