The TUC have said that they do not think Facebook should be banned at work. Research by utalkmarketing shows that employees do not go on it during work hours as much as employers think.

How often do you go on it? I wonder if people who work online go on it more than the average person?

Be honest!!!

As a student I cant say I go on it when i work because i don't work yet. However I feel from people I no that they don't use Facebook until lunch hour. There are a number of people who will use it during work, maybe the cause of this is when its a steady and quite day therefore there is time to use Facebook while completing the tasks in hand. On days when it is busy Facebook is most likely not to be used in working hours.

Thats my opinion anyways.

I think that employers are totally over reacting to facebook by banning it as no one really goes on it that much. Honestly, i go on it for about 5 mins a day and its always in my lunch break.

The thing is, it's addictitive. I'm on this way more than MySpace. I might log on perhaps 3 times a day, but still probably spend no more than 10 mins in total on it.
