| Did anyone see the Mars apology in the Metro this morning? It was from the MD of Mars and bascially said that they were wrong in making their products not suitable for vegetarians, and are seeking ways to put this right. As a vegetarian myself, i was outraged! But a better apology would be to make a Mars free day when they get the new bars sorted- then i'd really believe they are sorry!

| They have put it out in all national press. Good crisis management or too little too late? Is the brand too damaged already?

| Well, what else could they do? They have made a huge error and need to put things right with those veggies! I personally dont care what does into a Mars bar,as long as they taste good...

| People will forget in a second. And anyway, they have apologised and are putting it right. What more can they do?

| I dont think a high majorty or the consumers of 'Mars' are veggie. I dont think it will have had any adverse affect on the brand. They have said sorry and explained their reasons enough.
