| I sometimes ask the same question. If you have 2 years experience as an online marketing manager, you are looking at about 40K! Thats way more then just your average marketing manager.

I can imagine that some jobs would be highly paid, but the best online marketers in the field work for themselves. They act as advisors to companies and never become a business' employee.
Why make twenty odd thousand a year or so, when you can leverage your time and skills to make yourself fifty thousand and above.
