I know this partnership is years old but it has just occured to me that the partnership between Cancer Research and Tesco is very very strange. Why would Cancer Research want to be associated with such a money grabbing, uncaring corporation such as Tesco? I was planning on running the Race for Life this year but this is enough to put me off!

What do others think of this partnership? Good or bad idea?

I hate Tesco. If I have the chance to shop elsewhere I do everytime. They are an evil, evil company who sell s**t food.

The fact that Tesco is such a profitable company is probably the reason why Race for life want to be sponsored by them. Think about how many people shop there and donate money in the supplied charity buckets. The people who work there also participate in the race and generate awareness for the charity. I think getting Tesco's on board is an excellent idea because they are creating so much awareness and money which is the objective of a charity. The fact that Tesco are money grabbers is irrelevant to what Race for Life are trying to achieve.
