The Post Office have just appointed Tamar to handle its SEO in natural search. That itself isnt very interesting. The thing that is interesting to me is that it seems everyone is thinking about SEO- even the Post Office! Should we all be assigning agencies to improve our rankings?

It's definately something everyone should be thinking about. We all use google to search and if you rank highly- you are likely to get more business, more hits, etc. You can do it in- house though as SEO agencies are really expensive!

You can certainly do it in house. I've been told that since i work in marketing it's part of my job now! There are some good help article here, in the digital basic info section if you want to know what it may involve.
