| It seems that the limited marketing Primark did for the launch of the new store in Marble Arch has paid off. I heard that they had to open the doors 15 minutes early as they feared people in the queue would break the doors down! I went along yesterday thinking that it would be less busy but there was a queue all the way down to Park Lane, about 300 people. And all to buy some cheap clothes. Is it really worth it?!

| I went on Tuesday and the queue was still right up to Park Lane. I give up (for a few more days!)

| I have a theory. I dont want to stat a rumour (!) but i had a good old look in the windows at Primark and the shop was pretty empty. I think they are making people queue outside for the publicity...

| Funny you should mention that, i noticed the same thing on Wednesday. We were in the queue for ages but when we finally got in, it was pretty empty.

| Great idea though. Everyone is talking about it, good way to create hype! P.S. Does anyone know why the pronunciation of 'Primark' has suddenly changed?

| Yeh. It used to be 'PrImark', and now it's PrEmark'. What's going on there then? Are they trying to re-invent themselves?
