Does anyone know the council restrictions for outdoor advertising? For example, a big banner covering the side of a building?

Different councils have different policies on this. The best idea is to check with the one local to your activity.

You might need to contact the council you wish to advertise in, or the Advisory Committee for Advertising on 020 7276 2704.
