What is the best gift you have ever received or given to someone?

What was received the best by internal & external people?

Have you had anything that had a high perceived value, but in fact a very low one and was also successful?

What has not been successful for you?

I'm trying to source some new gifts for clients for next year, as they all get the same pen sets, USB sticks, mirrors, card holders etc.

Thanks

Sounds so stupid but food is a great gift.

Every in our office goes mad whenever  someone receives a free basket of food from a client and you can see the jealousy.

You know it will be used and you can guarantee it will be remembered (depending on you budget).

Are you clients B2B?

If so don't waste money on gifts they will only get thrown away or under used. You should add value in other ways with them. Find out what at low cost you can do to add value to the relationship. Buying them a low cost gift will not keep them, but working with them and adding value will make a stronger more profitable relationship.
