I have recently been working for a Junk Jewellery company as a consultant, Party Planning, Direct Sales etc.

Could anyone give me some advice with regard to selling at events like Conference Centres,Hotels, Offices and so on.

Like how to approach these companies.

I do have leaflets and brochures.

I live in the East London Area, very close to London Docklands.

Has anyone held any events in the Excel Centre??

Any advice will be very much appreciated.

Thank You!!

Your best bet is to look at the product you are selling. I assume its Costume Jewellery as the heading insinuates.

You could start by searching online to see if there is any events that usually involve costume jewellery. Try google for better results and use several keywords.

Once you have found a few websites that list a few events in and around London, then you could start by contacting the organisers of those events/festivals.

*Note* If you find a good music festival, then you may land yourself a proper yearly event that will generate some income. Making sure your product fits the event is very important as well.

Alternatively you could search for creative shops that are looking for artists to sell their wares. Then for a specified fee the will display it and sell it in their shop.

As for marketing materials...I am afraid you will need something. People want to see the product, how it will be marketed, how the display will look, and how it will benefit them if they help you sell your stuff.

After all... if I am a customer, or even a shop owner I would love to see it properly presented to me.
