| My new boss works til at least 9.00pm every night and I feel like I should also stay late as I am new to the company and want to impress. The problem is, it's starting to affect my homelife and my boyfriend is NOT happy! What do I do?

| I have a boss that works very late hours aand I know that he doesn't expect me to do the same. It's just the way he is. He also knows that I will work late when it's needed. The only thing to do is sit down with your boss and explain how you are feeling and then he or she can outline what it is they want from you. They can't ask you to work past your contracted hours but you do need to get the job done. It also depends on where you work. If it's an ad agency, then long hours come with the role.
