We’ve only waved goodbye to Christmas but already Cadbury has released a new campaign to push Crème Egg in advance of Easter.
The ‘Here Today, Goo Tomorrow’ ads celebrate all that’s good about Cadbury Creme Eggs, getting at the goo! They show Cadbury Creme Eggs devising and executing ingenious ways to get at their own goo.
Nine 10’ TV executions reveal the lengths they are prepared to go to and involve a flip top bin, egg slicer, blender, foot pump, hairdryer and even the executive desk toy, Newton’s Cradle.
Senior Brand Manager for Cadbury Creme Egg, Michelle Goodes, said, “This work celebrates what’s great about Cadbury Creme Eggs – that amazing goo – but in an edgy, fun way that’s totally true to the brand.”
Cadbury’s Brand Director, James Graham, added, “This campaign’s infectious sense of humour is sure to spread as each new execution is revealed. The finale we have planned will literally blow everyone away.”
The TV executions has launched on satellite channels and will screen on terrestrial from February.
They will be supported by bus T-side lenticulars showing eggs diving and splatting, and six-sheet posters where the eggs have jumped off a building.
