Google, Las Vegas and the National Football League are being tipped as the top three brands to top the headlines in the States this year.
The findings appear in the Newsmaker Brands Survey - a national survey examining Americans' perceptions of some of the high-profile brands.
Google, Las Vegas and iPod were named as the winners of 2006, but in 2007 iPod is predicted to fall out of the Top 10 completely.
A newcomer, however, predicted to impact on this year’s chart is Digital Video Recorder (DVR) technology.
Seven of the top ten winning brands for 2006 offer people of all ages and socio-economic backgrounds an opportunity to enjoy their offers.
Google consolidated its position in 2006 by, in addition to offering the strongest and most powerful search engine on the net, offering book searches, blog searches, views of the earth and purchasing YouTube.
“The key to brand success is deeply rooted in the need to deliver a clear, concise message across all points of interaction with your consumers, “says the report.
“Do this right and you’ll have the groundwork for long term success, do it often and you’ll make the top ten Newsmaker Brands list several years in a row.”
