Reader’s Digest, Britain’s best-selling monthly magazine, is launching a series of health ‘Bookazines’ in January to reward its most loyal customers.
The ‘Bookazines’ will publish selected content from Reader’s Digest best-selling health reference books, in a magazine format.
Each publication will be a single instalment of the Health Solutions series, with each edition focusing on a different aspect of health and well-being. The first of the quarterly instalments will be called ‘You are your Health’ and will provide an overall reference guide to all elements of everyday health.
The Bookazines will be sent free with Reader’s Digest purchases to a pre-selected list of 100,000 customers.
Publisher of Reader’s Digest UK, Victoria Scott, said: “Reader’s Digest customers have a huge appetite for our health literature: last year we sold 6.5 million health books and research shows that the magazine is one of the most trusted sources of medical advice for our readers after their family doctors.
The Bookazines are a great way to capitalise on our health publishing expertise, reward our customers and give advertisers a new way to engage with a highly responsive audience.”
