docHarbor for salesforce.com transforms and integrates corporate information including paper documents and electronic documents and reports for one-click retrieval from within Salesforce. The primary elements of docHarbor Online include capturing, managing, storing and delivering key documents as part of a highly secure, rapidly implemented and extremely cost-effective document management solution. Using a standard Web browser and corporate computing technologies, users have the benefit of around-the-clock, secure access to data – all using existing Internet-enabled infrastructure. By integrating the vast array of corporate knowledge stored in docHarbor Online with the customer relationship management expertise of salesforce.com, a new level of success can be realized by customers.

Any document stored in the docHarbor Online repository can be retrieved from custom links in Salesforce. For fast and easy implementation, the docHarbor Professional Services team can deploy docHarbor for AppExchange services including paper document scanning, electronic document capture, repository ingestion, document indexing, document lifecycle management, all the way through to the configuration of the docHarbor links in Salesforce. Any document in docHarbor can be made available from any page in Salesforce. Customer correspondence, invoices, contracts, sales orders, inventory reports, and shipping documents can be immediately reviewed from within Salesforce.

The Apex platform, formerly known as the AppExchange platform, is available today. As previously announced, the next release of the Apex platform is currently scheduled to be available in conjunction with the release of Winter 07, and the Apex programming language is currently scheduled to be available during the first half of 2007.
