HMV gains customer insight

HMV, the UK and Ireland’s leading specialist retailer of Music, DVD, Games and related products, is furthering its customer understanding using a visitor satisfaction survey on its website from online market research firm eDigitalResearch.

The survey from eDigitalResearch will provide HMV with pertinent information that will help improve the online user experience.  
HMV trades 240 stores around the UK and Ireland and an online store at  The retailer is part of HMV Group, which also operates HMV stores in Canada, Singapore and Hong Kong as well as the Waterstone's and Fopp chains in the UK.
HMV prides itself on providing the shopping experience its customers expect, so it was keen to gain a better understanding of its online customers. The survey from eDigital Research will provide a greater insight of who its site visitors are and what they think of the site; asking their opinions on everything from navigation to product information and ease of purchase. Critically, the survey will also reveal any issues that may lead to customers’ abandoning their basket instead of completing their purchase.
