The Animal Health Trust has announced a new era for its direct marketing activity, appointing Entire to a donor recruitment brief. Entire’s appointment marks the first time the leading animal welfare research charity has worked with an external agency for 4 years, following a period of handling marketing internally.
Founded in 1942, the Trust is at the forefront of veterinary research and relies heavily on voluntary donations to continue its work. Entire has been appointed to develop the charity’s communications through digital and direct mail channels in order to drive awareness and boost donations. The campaign is expected to go live in April.
The Trusts’ current supporter base consists largely of charitable trusts, major benefactors, people involved with animals professionally and private individual donors. The new campaign will look to recruit new donors.
Ian Stockley, Managing Direct at Entire says: “This represents a wonderful opportunity to work with a charity that is a genuine world-leader. Their pioneering research and treatment delivers a clear proposition in the market – one we are very excited about delivering through both digital and traditional channels”.
Andrew Simmonds, Head of Marketing at Animal Health Trust says: “Entire proved that they had the experience and enthusiasm to match the scale and ambition of our plans for this year. We wouldn’t be able to remain at the forefront of animal welfare research without the support of our individual donors – this new campaign will target new supporters and we anticipate good results.”
