The BPMA (British Promotional Merchandise Association) awards, it was announced that the leading trade association will be is to launch its own TV Channel to promote the latest products available to the marketing industry and educate marketers.
Five programmes will be broadcast over the internet, three which will highlight the latest promotional products and two programmes that will interview leading industry figures and members from the BPMA board about future plans, standards and legislation in promotional marketing. The programmes will be produced by CRE:8 Multimedia and broadcast on MarketingSuccess.TV.
The deal follows the success of similar contracts with the DMA and the BFA (British Franchise Association) that also have their own TV channels through the IPTV portal.
Speaking about the TV deal, Director General of the BPMA, Gordon Glenister said: “Since the inception of MarketingSuccess.TV in October it has grown into a valuable resource for marketers of all kind. It gives the BPMA an ability to deliver news and features in an engaging and cutting edge format and most importantly showcases the new and innovative products that companies and marketers can utilise”.
Peter Middleton, Managing Director of MarketingSuccess.TV added: “The BPMA is our third industry body and testament to the growth of the TV channel. Through our work with the association we are able to deliver the very best features regarding promotions and incentives, something we have previously not been able to do”.
MarketingSuccess.TV was founded in October and is a subsidiary channel on the BusinessSuccess.TV broadband network. The channel’s aim is to inspire, instruct and advise marketing professionals with a series of succinct, easily digestible video presentations from leading experts in the marketing industry.
