Ciao Surveys, the European Internet survey solutions subsidiary of Greenfield Online, Inc. (Nasdaq: SRVY), a leading provider of Internet data collection and comparison shopping services, today announced an expanded and realigned Ciao Surveys European sales force to meet growing customer demand.
First, Chris Watson joined the company in the role Senior Director, Client Development at Ciao Surveys for the UK, Ireland, and recently added the Netherlands to his responsibilities. Chris Watson will be based in London and is accountable for driving Ciao Surveys’ client development process and forging strategic relationships with partner companies.

Prior to Ciao Surveys, Watson was a founding Director of Qureshi Marketing & Research. Qureshi was purchased by MASMI Research Group, at which time he became a Board Director of MASMI UK and its Company Secretary.
Continued Thornton: “We have also realigned our client development team across Europe to ensure we best meet the growing customer demand we are seeing in the European market, with experienced managers Abell, Deguignet and Maury taking on added responsibility.”
Leslie Abell, has been appointed Senior Director, Client Development for Germany, the Nordics, Austria and Switzerland. Leslie joined Ciao Surveys in March 2005 as Director of Client Development for the Benelux countries and in October 2006 took on the important assignment of Global Director of Pricing Strategy. Leslie’s previous experience includes five years in sales and marketing at Information Resources and GfK, B.V.
Christophe Deguignet, previously Client Development Director for Southern Europe, has been promoted to European Director, Key Accounts Team. With this realignment Ciao Surveys has also created dedicated client services and project delivery teams for key accounts; with a particular focus on major global accounts.
Christophe joined Ciao Surveys in 2004 as Client Development Director for France, stepping up to also manage Italy and Spain since 2005. Prior to Ciao Surveys, Christophe held various global positions with Gartner Group and JupiterMediametrix.
Cedric Maury has also been promoted to Director Client Development, France, responsible for building client relationships and driving incremental revenue in France. He joined Ciao Surveys in April 2005 as Sales Manager. Prior to Ciao Surveys, Maury held different global positions for ACNielsen.
