Eclipse Marketing has boosted the strength of its client services team with two new senior appointments.
Karen Mapstone (pictured) has been appointed the database marketing agency’s business development director and James Le Roth is its contact centre director.
Karen joined Eclipse from the Dataforce Group, where she managed accounts valued at more than £7million. She brings to the agency a 20-year track record within the travel and leisure, financial services and multi-channel retail sectors.
Most recently she was involved with major contracts in the government and charity sectors. At Eclipse she will focus on expanding the company’s marketshare across all these sectors.
“These are markets I know well and where I believe there could be significant scope for Eclipse with its unique mix of experience and technological skills,” Karen explained.
“In the coming months we will be putting a strategic programme in place aimed at widening and deepening the company’s client base, in particular looking at providing a multi-channel experience for Eclipse clients.”
James Le Roth has been appointed Eclipse’s contact centre director, a new position which reflects the importance the company places on its call centre activities. James is returning to Eclipse, having spent the previous two years as head of the Baby careline.
“I was attracted back by the exciting challenge of leading the development of the company’s contact centre,” James said. “I’m particularly looking forward to working with Karen on maximising the potential of this part of the business, as well as managing its day-to-day operations.”
