Following the announcement of its secondary buyout, DLG has demonstrated its commitment to client-servicing, product-development and data delivery through the appointment of three influential industry figures including former managing directors of EHS Brann and Loot.
Dave Craft joins DLG as client services director after six years as MD at EHS Brann Discovery and with over 20 years overall industry experience. At EHS, Craft helped it to achieve a reputation as one of the leading outsourced data marketing businesses in the UK. In his new role, he will be responsible for maintaining the high quality of service expected of DLG by its clients across all products, and for enhancing DLG’s reputation as the foremost supplier of consumer lifestyle data.
With many years of senior sales management experience in print and on-line media, Gina Bradbury takes up the position of DLG sales director. From a career built at Mirror Group and Trinity Mirror, where she was Group Classified Advertisement Director for over ten years, she became Managing Director of Loot and Loot.com, before more recently working as an independent consultant to the marketing services sector.
Narinder Kumar takes the role of data planning director from his post as principal marketing consultant at ClarityBlue. In his new capacity he will be developing ways of deriving real added-value to clients through the intelligent application of analytics, modelling, profiling and data planning, with the express intention of increasing their ROI.
Graham Bate, Chief Sales Officer at DLG comments: “DLG is one of the fastest growing businesses in the UK data industry. To be able to demonstrate a genuine commitment to our clients at this time of such dramatic expansion through the recruitment of three highly-regarded marketing and data professionals will help the business maintain its sales momentum whilst continuing to exceed our clients’ highest expectations.”
Richard Webster, Commercial Director of DLG added, “Fulfilling clients’ data requirements, increasing their service levels, and providing them with further added value through supplementary data services, is our clear intention. These appointments endorse DLG’s commitment to match the quality of our data with the quality of our service.”
These three senior hires follow completion of the refinancing of DLG through Kaupthing Capital Partners, the expansion of DLG’s digital offering with the purchase of 43 plc, the launch of DLG Mobile and the acquisition of competitor Wegener DM, as it pursues its vision to be the UK’s principal consumer data hub for all channels of direct marketing communication.
