Turning Point, the UK’s leading social care organisation continues to put the spotlight on customers through the development of a long term marketing strategy.

The third sector organisation which seeks to turn the lives around of individuals needing help with substance misuse, learning disabilities and mental health issues has employed marketing strategists Deeks Consulting to develop its five year marketing approach.

The social care provider has recently gone public with its desire to triple the number of individuals its helps to 500,000 by 2012 and has recognised the need to market with increasing differentiation to its customers responsible for commissioning the services it provides.

Deeks Consulting has delivered a strategy that builds on customer insight and competitive analysis to define this approach. This is the first time Turning Point has invested in a strategic approach to communicating with its customers and is a clear indicator of the organisation’s adoption of professional practices to reach its ambitious goals.

Deeks Consulting is a small consultancy, built from senior marketing professionals. As well as its stable of private sector clients, the marketing strategy team is increasingly building a specialism applying private sector marketing principles to third sector organisations.

The Turning Point marketing strategy is now moving into implementation phase. Beverley Priest has become Marketing and Communications Director and is currently recruiting for an Assistant Director role.
