iris PR strengthens board

iris PR has announced the appointment of Laura Mahon as a Board Director. She joins from Freud Communications where she was Deputy Creative Director, spearheading the ASDA and Lynx accounts, as well as being behind campaigns for the likes of Walkers Crisps, Nike and American Express.

Mahon was at Freud for five years, joining them from GCI where she worked on high profile consumer campaigns for the likes of Carphone Warehouse, Zanussi and the Matthew Clark drinks portfolio. Prior to her time at GCI, she began her career in-house as Press Officer at Guy’s and St Thomas’ Hospital Trust.

The appointment of Mahon to the iris PR board comes on the back of strong growth for the company in the last year through the expansion of its portfolio of clients including Network Rail, Wonderbra, and Brown Forman.
In her new role, Mahon will focus on helping the business continue its growth into 2008, as well as deepening the company’s creative expertise and realising the potential of integrated opportunities within the iris group.
