IPC Connect announces today a new partnership with John Blake Publishing, to launch a series of books from the hugely popular real life weeklies, Chat and Pick Me Up.
The first two in the series - Chat’s Greatest Ever True life Stories and Pick Me Up Tip Offs will be launched in time for Christmas, with a further three books planned for release early next year.
The Greatest Ever True Life Stories builds on the popular and extraordinary stories featured in Chat. The book includes over one hundred real-life accounts, and reveals some of the most shocking and heroic acts experienced by ordinary people.
Pick Me Up Tip Offs delivers an exciting collection of practical and useful ideas compiled from the regular Tip Off franchise in Pick Me Up. Each handy tip is the inspiration of the magazine’s readers, and designed to make household tasks simpler.
Chat and Pick Me Up publisher, Simon Denny says: "Both Chat’s Greatest Ever True Life stories and Pick Me Up Tip Offs are extremely popular elements of both magazines and these books make a perfect gift and stocking filler at Christmas".
Established fifteen years ago John Blake Publishing has an impressive portfolio of best-selling non-fiction books, ranging from celebrity autobiographies such as the recent sensational Being Jordan, to successful true crime stories including Lenny McLean's The Guv'nor.
John Blake adds: "We are delighted to be publishing these books in conjunction with IPC Connect and are looking forward to launching them into the book trade."
Chat and Pick Me Up are two of the famous brands on UK newsstands, delivering a combined circulation of almost one million copies each and every week.*
Chat’s Greatest Ever True Life Stories and Pick Me Up Tip Offs go on sale on 6th November in all good booksellers - including WH Smith, Borders, Waterstone’s and leading supermarket groups priced £7.99.
