Following a competitive pitch the Finnish Tourist Board has appointed full-service advertising agency Smarter Communications to handle both creative and media for a series of upcoming campaigns promoting winter and summer breaks as well as Helsinki city breaks.
The campaigns will run in a number of national press titles focused on luxury and wellbeing, starting this autumn and running throughout 2008.
Smarter’s Managing Partner, Jeremy Aspinall said: “Our research has shown that people are increasingly looking for different destinations that offer authentic, high quality experiences in a pure environment, full of natural beauty. I am delighted we will be helping Finland carve out a bigger niche in the UK market.”
