Delta Energy Systems has appointed leading global strategic branding firm Siegel+Gale as their brand development partner to help the renewable energy provider create a global brand platform for its solar inverter business.
With the ambition to become the leading global provider of solar inverter (used to convert DC to AC power, the type used in many homes and businesses) products and services to both the B2C and B2B segments by 2014, Delta Energy Systems is looking to implement a systematic brand management process.
Ulf-Bruen Drechsel, Executive Director, EMEA at Siegel+Gale in Hamburg said "In the rapidly evolving, increasingly competitive industry of renewable energies, having a market-oriented brand is both a challenge and a necessity."
Following the competitive pitch, Siegel+Gale have been tasked with developing a strategic brand platform that will both clarify and clearly position Delta Energy globally. The work includes sub-brand Solivia and will focus on building a future facing Delta Energy Systems brand in a way that demonstrates the innovative work that they do within the renewable solar energy technologies sector.
Andreas Schmidt, Head of Marketing at Delta, is responsible for the project. He commented: "We are delighted to be working with Siegel+Gale – it is great to have such an experienced and trustworthy branding partner on our side. Working together to take our brands sucessfully to the top is an exciting journey I am very much looking forward to!“
