The Association of Publishing Agencies (APA) has launched their annual awards, the International Content Marketing Awards 2011.
These are the only awards dedicated to recognising the best in customer publishing and content marketing and are open to agencies in the UK and internationally.
This year, the prestigious awards have been renamed to reflect the industry’s expertise in producing content for all platforms, not just print.
In addition to the new name, three new categories have been introduced: Best Mobile Solution, Best Integrated Solution of the Year (consumer) and Best Integrated Solution of the Year (B2B). The new categories will give entrants further opportunities to showcase their expertise in producing engaging multiplatform content.
Julia Hutchison, COO APA, said: “The past year has been an incredibly exciting one for the customer publishing industry with a host of new opportunities and developments shaping our sector and making it one of the most dynamic in the marketing industry. I know there has been some fantastic work produced both in the UK and internationally on a range of platforms which demonstrates the industry’s amazing creativity and rigorous effectiveness. I can’t wait to see the entries.”
The deadline for submissions is Friday 2nd September. The winners will be announced at a ceremony held on Wednesday 23rd November at Old Billingsgate, London.
The awards are preceded by the second annual International Content Summit, also being help at Old Billingsgate.
This year’s Summit, entitled Content + Convergence, will offer insight, advice and strategic thinking for marketing, advertising and publishing professionals. The 2011 conference will delve into the challenges and issues presented by device convergence and how brand owners can make best use of the new converged media landscape.
