Brewin Dolphin, one of the UK’s largest independent private client investment managers, is working with Wardour to deliver an integrated client communications programme that includes a customer magazine, iPad app and website.
The first issue of the 56-page Perspective magazine and its associated iPad app were published in April. The aim is to explain both the depth of the company’s financial expertise and to highlight its values through coverage of its sponsorship and charity activities.
Issue one was distributed to 30,000 clients and professionals. It included, for example, an interview with Sir Ranulph Fiennes about his Brewin Dolphin-sponsored ascent of Everest and an article on the company’s funding of the British Heart Foundation’s garden at the Chelsea Flower Show.
The website will be launched later in the year and will provide a platform for video footage of interviews and behind the scenes at sponsored events as well as slide shows, an interactive forum and the latest financial news and features.
“We wanted to create a publication that demonstrates the personality of Brewin Dolphin while also being an informative and absorbing read,” said Philip Browne, Director of Marketing. “Our new Perspective really brings the client experience to life and works well as an informal introduction to the way we look after our clients. We believe it will prove to be a very effective retention, and acquisition, marketing tool. The Perspective iPad app then takes this stunning content into a new medium which further enhances the overall impact of the publication.”
