Clearasil shows it understands teens with 'Skins style' bumpers Euro RSCG London has created 19 tongue in cheek bumpers as part of Clearasil’s sponsorship of Channel 4's flagship teen drama, Skins.
The highly anticipated series 5 kicks off 27th January on E4. The idents feature scenes from a house party and follow the antics of a group of teenagers and then into the aftermath of the morning after.
In the spirit of Skins we see teens either confused or in confusing situations and each bumper ends with the strapline 'At least your skin's clear'. Highlights include a girl and a guy who have turned up to the party in the same clothes, an amorous teen making a move on her female friend and a guy waking up in drag in someone's bath. In short, there is a lot that isn't clear about being a teen; at least one thing can be though: your skin. The bumpers were directed by Kim Gehrig who recently filmed the acclaimed Ikea kitchens ad.
Russ Lidstone, CEO, Euro RSCG London says ''Skins is the perfect fit for Clearasil and has provided us with a great opportunity to produce some highly impactful and engaging work that we as an Agency can feel really proud of'.
