AXA PPP, the private healthcare company, is to launch a new three-month brand campaign incorporating TV, online and mobile advertising activity.
The campaign will launch on 3rd October 2010 and will promote its lower cost cover offer. Created by Saatchi & Saatchi – Treadmill' will focus on how private medical cover, in particular AXA PPP healthcare’s 6-week option, provides a cost effective way to enable people to secure the medical care they need.
The 30 / 40 second TV commercial highlights the frustration and anxiety of “Suzie”, a mid-30s woman, who is ‘stuck’ on a never ending (treadmill) road as she struggles to reach a medical centre. Feelings of lack of control and inner dilemmas are explored in the ad that switches from a dark, surreal world of confusion and fear to the enlightened, supportive world of AXA PPP private medical care.
Cheryl Toner, group marketing and communication director of AXA UK says: “At a time when there is uncertainty over the NHS’ capability to meet increasing demands for its services, access to timely treatment is becoming a more important consideration. “The new AXA PPP campaign highlights imaginatively the pressure that people can feel when trying to get the care that they need, while highlighting the affordability of AXA PPP’s private healthcare cover.” MPG is handling media buying and PR support is handled by Paratus Communications.
