UK, Telecommunications company Powwownow will be setting a new world record for the longest ever three-way conference call on September 30, 2010.
Working with London engagement agency Hotcow, they have assembled three celebrities from totally different walks of life who will embark on a 24 hour marathon conference call to publicise the advantages of Powwownow’s affordable and innovative services.
Starting at 2pm, cricket legend Phil Tufnell, funny-man Patrick Monahan and glamour model Jodie Marsh will be placed in bed booths at London transport hubs Waterloo, Victoria and London Bridge to show commuters how “having a three-way” with Powwownow allows you to do business from anywhere - even your bed - which cuts down travelling, helps the environment and saves British businesses money.
Three characters, ‘Pow’, ‘Wow’ and ‘Now’ will also be in attendance inviting people to come and have a three-way with Powwownow, while giving out stylised travel cards as a memento to remember them by.
As well as pulling in the crowds on site, the event will feature a huge interactive element with a microsite video-streaming the entire event online at www.upforathreewaycall.co.uk while the public will have the chance to engage with the celebrities through Twitter and Facebook.
