LinkShare, a leading affiliate network, today announces a series of high-profile customer wins that add to its thriving retail and lifestyle arms. Sixty advertisers have joined the LinkShare network since January 2010.
Recently launched programs include cashmere clothing company Brora, designer clothing destinations Ted Baker and START London and high-street favourites, Miss Selfridge, Puma and Burton. Home and furniture retailer OKA also joins the LinkShare portfolio, alongside country house hotel specialist Hand Picked Hotels.
The success of affiliate marketing techniques over the last year has created a strong foundation for brands looking to improve audience engagement and increase their marketing campaign’s return on investment. The growing LinkShare network of publishers presents additional opportunities for advertisers to increase brand awareness and revenues.
With consumers now accustomed to using the internet to research planned purchases and look for vouchers and value-add deals, a well-designed affiliate campaign can drive increased brand awareness, complement offline campaigns and help increase individual sales (for example by offering money off multiple product purchases; shipping discounts over a certain value; or free gifts for particular purchases).
