Newcastle-based Admiral, a leading brand communications consultancy, continues its rapid growth with the appointment of three new consultants. Steven Abbott, Asmar Chaudhry, and Nathalie Porter join the agency as account executives to support a number of key accounts including regional development agency One NorthEast and UK environmental consultancy ADAS. Georgie Cameron, Admiral’s managing director comments: “Our three new recruits have joined us from across the UK and bring with them a significant range of expertise to further strengthen our skills set.” Nathalie Porter has relocated to Admiral from Bath where she was editor of lifestyle title Exeter Living, while Asmar Chaudhry moved from Leeds Business School having previously worked for the Home Office. Steven Abbott joins Admiral from Northumbria Water, bolstering the agency’s marketing expertise. The new starters arrive at what is set to be the end of yet another prosperous year for the firm, which has seen turnover and profits quadruple in the last two years. Since moving to offices in Newcastle’s City centre in October 2004, Admiral has made a number of key appointments, taking the firm’s headcount from two to 13. Georgie Cameron adds, “We’ve come a long way since we opened our offices in Newcastle two and a half years ago, and I’m confident that we will be expanding our operations beyond the North East in the near future. This fast growth is driving our need for people with excellent communications skills that are ambitious, self motivated and who relish a challenge. In return, their career prospects are great as we actively search for people that can grow with the business.”
