Europe’s largest business aviation company, NetJets Europe, today announced the launch of its new ‘ultimate business aviation experience’ website, which is now live.
The site (netjetseurope.com), created by AKQA, Michael Mabry Design and NetJets Europe design teams, will be available in six languages and is packed with innovative new features to help existing and prospective customers get closer to the NetJets experience.
The launch forms a key part of the company’s recent renewed digital strategy to drive sales. A major new feature is ‘Explore Our Fleet’, designed to showcase the extensive choice across the fleet of 800 planes accessible through the NetJets programmes and highlight the business efficiencies they enable.
Customers can view the 10 aircraft types in the NetJets Europe fleet and sort them to match their exact requirements – filtering by factors such as range (distance or hours), speed, passenger and luggage capacity and fleet size.
For those looking to step inside NetJets Europe’s fleet, the site also contains a Virtual Walk-Through section. Visitors can explore exactly what each aircraft cabin looks like from the inside, with a 360 degree view from nose to tail.
This is available for each model in the fleet, with the recently added Falcon 7X, featuring an interior designed by Sir Norman Foster, being added to the site later this year.
The ‘Explore Our Network’ feature highlights nearly 1,000 European airports where NetJets flies, including many not served by commercial operators.
For chosen destinations, a site visitor can calculate total journey time with NetJets, and see how this compares to commercial airlines. Being able to highlight how business jets perform a vital role in saving executive time is a key objective of the new site.
Commenting on the launch, Claire Cronin, Senior Vice President of Marketing for NetJets Europe said, “For many people, the web is their first experience of NetJets Europe and we wanted that experience to be as powerful and customer-focused as possible.
"Since I joined NetJets Europe earlier this year, we’ve started really listening to what our customers are saying about our brand online and have built features on this new site to reflect their desires. In particular, we’re now offering a far richer experience that allows people to explore our aircraft and destinations in more engaging ways than were ever previously possible. With the launch of this site, we’re one step closer to digitally bringing the ultimate business aviation experience to life.”
Following the initial site launch, NetJets Europe is planning to add even more features over the next 12 months, including video content, European lifestyle information for each region and city and links to Twitter feeds. Currently NetJets Europe is also running a digital ATL banner campaign focused on its superior industry position on safety.
