A new copywriting agency has been launched to assist businesses that may struggle to create their own Web-friendly content. Formed by seasoned copywriters and former journalists, Wordsauce Creative effectively blends consumer-friendly copy with search engine optimisation (SEO), creating Web content that’s both stylish and savvy.
“Web copy must be consumer-focused, so potential customers not only find the sites they’re looking for but stay longer once they get there,” said Rennie Brown, founder of Wordsauce Creative.
“While many companies understand the benefits of consumer-focused optimised content, they often don’t have the time or resources to write their own copy. Wordsauce Creative can plug that gap.”
As well as writing for small businesses, Rennie has worked on global brands such as Disney, Fox, Dreamworks, MGA Entertainment, BBC Worldwide, Diners Club, National Car Hire and Marriot Hotels.
She is joined at Wordsauce Creative by Chris Lee, a digital media specialist with a background in technology PR and journalism. Chris has written for leading tech titles IT Week, Computing and, more recently, New Media Knowledge.
“Firms rely on good copy – press releases, blogs, case studies, opinion pieces – to showcase their products and services to the world, yet so much of the brand value can fall down at this crucial stage,” said Lee. “It's at this point that companies need to turn to proven copywriting experts.”
