Sage (UK) Limited, has handed its paid and natural search accounts to VCCP Search without a pitch.
Sage provides business software and services to more than 780,000 businesses in the UK, and in 2008 the company embarked on a major repositioning campaign, partnering with ITV1 to bring back the Krypton Factor as part of its ‘Business Brains’ campaign.
Online formed a major part of this repositioning and the success of the digital campaign led to a wider review of the company’s activities in this channel and search was identified as the key opportunity.
Sage Digital Strategy Manager, Peter Wilson said, "Both myself and Ewan McIntyre, the digital implementation manager, felt VCCP Search bought a level of intelligence and analytical ability that would improve our performance in this area.
