23red Regions has been appointed to the marketing and design roster; brand development for Arts Council England over the next three years. The agency was appointed, following a full OJEU tendering process, pitching against eight shortlisted agencies.
Agencies will compete for a wide range of contracts at both national and regional levels across the next four years in the areas of brand development, strategic communications and campaign management.
23red is a leading agency in social, and public sector, marketing and communications. It has recently secured national contracts with Department of Health, Central Office of Information, Child Workforce Development Agency, Met Office and Environment Agency. At a regional level it works for a number of regional development agencies, and a clutch of Local Authorities.
Elizabeth Vessey, marketing officer at Arts Council England, said: “23red were able to stand out in particular for their work in partnership and social marketing campaigns and their strong communications/media planning credentials made them a clear choice.”
Stephanie Drakes, regional director at 23red Regions, added: “This is a key win for the agency this year, in one of our core areas of expertise. The appointment recognizes both our intellectual and creative ability. We’re looking forward to getting to grips with some of the challenges that will be asked of us.”
