Euro RSCG KLP is celebrating today after it was awarded an MCCA Best award for its work with Bacardi. At the prestigious ceremony at The Brewery, Chiswick Street. KLP picked up one of the coveted Communications campaign awards.
The awards saw a record number of agencies compete for one of 25 Best awards. The shortlisted entries were judged by two panels – the client judging panel, headed up by Nokia’s Louise Proddow and the creative panel, chaired by WDMP Creative Director Gary Sharpen.
The Marketing Communications Consultants Association (MCCA) was established to protect, defend and support marketing communications agencies. Headed up by MD Scott Knox, the MCCA acts as an extension of its members’ boards, and assists them in becoming better businesses through strong growth and best practise. The Best awards annually celebrate the most inspiring, effective agency work for brands.
Scott Knox, the MCCA’s Managing Director commented: “We’ve seen a record number of entries this year, so it’s pleasing to see that despite everything else going on, agencies are still making the time to celebrate every success. Both the client and the creative judges commented on the wide variety of entries, and also on the consistently high standard. More than ever, work must perform, and all the winners tonight did just that.”
KLP’s Head of Entertainment, Natasha Kizzie commented: “ We are delighted to have won such a prestigious award for our work for Bacardi. It is always wonderful to see our hard work rewarded and for the team to gain such recognition. The collaboration between Bacardi and Groove Armada has been a success both for brand and band globally and this award proves that”.
