Cravendale is pleased to announce the appointment of Sam Dolan, as its new Brand Manager. Sam will be responsible for implementing the Cravendale marketing initiatives and strengthening its presence within the milk category.
Sam moves to Cravendale from another Arla brand, Castello, where as Brand Manager, she helped to grow the brand from £300k to £1.3m. Most recently she extended the range with the successful launch of Castello Black, the first black cheese to hit shelves in the UK.
Sam is joining Cravendale at an extremely exciting time. The brand has experienced continued growth of 35% in 2008 and now worth £129m despite a largely static and challenging market place
Sam says: “I am really excited about working on the number one milk brand in the UK, particularly as I started my career in the milk industry over 17 years ago. Cravendale has seen significant growth particularly in the last year and I intend to stay focussed on continuing its growth through 2009 and beyond”
Sam Dolan will work as part of the existing marketing team, alongside Louise Allen as Assistant Brand Manager.
