Premier League team Bolton Wanderers have appointed Golley Slater to strategically assist with innovation and creative thinking from strategy to delivery.
It is understood Golley Slater will be looking at creating digital, direct and advertising
campaigns for the Premier League club.
Mike Needham, Marketing Manager at Bolton Wanderers said: "Bolton Wanderers has appointed Golley Slater to develop several interesting propositions. We will be working with them on these ideas and bringing the fans something new. Bolton Wanderer*s commercial and marketing teams will be working with Golley Slater to develop and deliver these initiatives, with the first being unveiled in the Spring.
Tim Orrell, Golley Slater managing director, added, "Golley Slater will be conducting research and workshops with fans and club officials to drive new innovation and to ask the fans their opinions on a whole variety of commercial products. These will then be developed into a strategy and delivered."
It is the first remit for the newly launched "Sports Specialist Team" at Golley Slater, following new managing director Tim Orrell's arrival to head up the Leeds office of Golley Slater. Orrell was previously MD of sports agency Beyond 1, clients of which included Everton Football Club.
Golley Slater has assembled a specialist sports team headed up by Orrell and creatively led by Paul Stearn to work with Bolton Wanders and other top flight clubs to innovate and deliver retail growth and commercial success.
