Integrated communications agency Gyro International has been appointed by NXP Semiconductors, the independent semiconductor company founded by Philips, to drive forward its marketing communications strategy as it looks to boost its presence across multiple markets through increased and targeted sales and marketing efforts.
The appointment highlights the shift NXP has adopted as it fully embraces integrated multichannel marketing. Specifically, Gyro will develop creative and strategic platforms for all marketing campaigns allowing seamless integration across all aspects of NXP’s business portfolio. In addition, Gyro will implement a media strategy, including planning and buying media space for all campaigns and will also be responsible for designing individual microsites, on and offline advertising and email marketing to support these campaigns.
Gyro was awarded the work following a competitive pitch process at the beginning of 2008. The activity will be managed from Gyro’s Amsterdam office and delivered across European, US and Asian markets, with a special focus on Greater China, identified as NXP’s fastest developing market.
