Having sold Tyrrells Potato Chips, the Williams Chase Group has diversified into producing the UK’s first and only potato vodka. Room 58 was selected to be their incumbent Marketing and Design agency for 2008/2009 beating stiff competition from all over the UK. We have begun work ready for the launch of the vodka in 2009.
Room 58 and Williams Chase have been working closely on the launch of the potato vodka, undertaking many projects together including brand development, advertising campaigns and the creation of a web site.
Their home grown Herefordshire potatoes are transferred from the field to a hand-crafted copper batch pot for fermentation. The liquid is then distilled three times: once through the pot still and twice through a 60ft copper column, the only one of its type in the world. The vodka is then hand bottled, signed and batch numbered by their chief distiller. It takes 3 weeks for each potato to be transformed into the luxurious smooth velvety potato vodka.
To develop a new web site that:
• Reflects the new brand identity
• Is informative- exploring the creation of Chase Vodka
• A flash web site linking strong imagery and emotive music
• A contemporary site that ensures Williams Chase stands out from the competition
This is a bespoke build focusing on establishing the key business requirements and audience group for the site.
The introduction sequence draws the visitor into the site and pushes the boundaries in user experience.
The cross-platform compatible site utilises 3D animation and atmospheric flash to immerse the user. Syncing the music and images further achieves this goal.
The rolling 3D product shot was build specifically for this site by our in house multimedia team using 3ds Max.
Phase 2 of the build will see the site fully e-commerce enabled.
