Lambie-Nairn, the agency known for its heritage in broadcast branding, has been appointed to brand a new television channel in Qatar as part of this year's celebrations surrounding Qatar's National Day. The appointment was part of a competitive pitch process which included the German-based DMC Group.
The channel, to be called Al Doha, will include programming covering both modern life and traditional aspects of Qatar -- from its culture, tourism and business -- to energy, education and healthcare. The channel will feature Lambie- Nairn's channel and programme idents as well as a news package and on-screen presentation graphics.

The channel goes live in December.
